Bubble painting

You will need:

Poster paint,
Washing up liquid,
Water,
Bowl,
Straw,
Paper.

Fill your bowl with water and washing up liquid and then add your choice of paint. Give it a good stir with the straw. Now let your child blow through the straw to create bubbles. Make sure they over flow the bowl and then press your paper down on to the bowl. As the bubbles pop they will leave marks on the paper. We then let them dry and cut out love hearts for Valentine cards but you can use them for anything. Please watch your child as they may suck instead of blow.

Bear loved this activity, after we got our prints I let him carry on blowing and then he used his hands to pop the bubbles. Buttercup enjoyed it until she accidentally sucked instead of blew. This put her off but she enjoyed it up to that point and made some good prints.
