Christmas sight words
You will need:
A big piece of card,
Cotton wool balls,
1.draw a big snowman
2. Fill it with sight words
There are a few ways you can play this game. The first way is I shouted out a word and she used the cotton balls to cover it up. You could even expand this by timing how long it takes to find it.
If you have more than one child, draw out two and they can race.
The second way is they gentle throw the cotton ball on the snowman and read the word it lands on.
Button enjoyed this game because she is Christmas mad and she just saw it as playing a Christmas game. We ended up playing it a few times over the Christmas period and in the end I left the snowman and cotton balls where she could get to them.
